# Clear the sample

> What signup created, and how to hide it before real work.

Signup does not create fake jobs. It does two things you will see:

* An **example customer** that uses your email
* An **example estimate**, also emailed to you

The schedule is empty until you book a real visit.

  <Step title="Leave them until you have clicked through once">
    Open the example estimate so you can see **Send**, **Mark approved**, and **Convert to job** before you do it with a real customer.

  <Step title="Archive when you want a clean list">
    On **Customers** or **Estimates**, select the example row and click **Archive**. Archived rows stay out of the active list. You can restore them from the archived filter.

<Warning>
  Do not delete a customer, estimate, or invoice that has a real payment, a linked job, or a deposit. Jomioz blocks that delete and tells you to archive it instead.
