# Schedule and time

> Calendar display, Find a time, and how the team clocks time.

Public booking (what a customer picks on your website) is not this page. That lives under [Request forms](/settings/request-forms).

## Schedule

**Settings → Schedule** has two tabs.

### Calendar

This only changes how the board looks.

* **Appointment layout**: stacked makes gaps easier to see. Nested makes titles easier to read on a busy day.
* **Completed styling**: strikethrough keeps the colours. Grey out makes finished work fade so overdue work stands out.
* **Weekends**: whether Saturday and Sunday appear on week and month views.

### Find a time

These rules are for your team when Jomioz suggests an open slot. They are separate from the spacing customers see on a public booking form.

* **Suggest times…** is how often a suggested start time appears: **Every 15 minutes**, **Every 30 minutes**, or **Every hour**.
* **Between back-to-back visits** is the cushion between stops. **Farthest drive we will offer** limits how far a job can be from your company start address. **No limit** means there is no cap.
* **Smarter assignment**, when on, ranks people by skills, fairness, travel, and route fit. **How much should drive time matter?** is **Balanced (default)** or **Prefer shorter drives**. **Default max visits per person per day** can cap the day. **No default limit** leaves that open.
* **Gap between jobs** is the minimum space between visits.

If Find a Time on the schedule says there are no slots, these rules (plus business hours and the customer’s address) are why.

## Time tracking

**Settings → Time tracking** is covered control by control in [Time tracking](/settings/time-tracking): job timers, the workday clock, pay periods, shift hours, and timesheet rules. Hourly rates for profit stay under **Team → Labor costs**.
