Create similar
On the job, open More → Create similar job. You get a new job for that customer with the same kind of work, as a new record. The old job, its visits, and its invoices stay where they are. Change the title and book a new visit before you treat it as scheduled.Duplicate
Duplicate on the Jobs list row copies the job. Use it when you want a second copy of the same work. It is a new job number. It does not keep the customer’s payments.Templates
Settings → Jobs → Templates stores a starting point: notes, price-book lines, checklists, visit length, how many visits, priority, and a default crew. The price-book lines on a template are not edited on the template itself. Editing a template does not rewrite jobs you already created from it. A service plan is the other way to repeat work: a schedule and a billing agreement for that customer. That is Service plans, not a one-off duplicate.Build a template
Settings → Jobs → Templates is Job templates. Add template opens New job template.
Save stores the template. Start from template when you create a job fills line items and job fields. The toast says to review before saving. Editing or deleting the template later does not rewrite jobs already created from it. Delete job template? says jobs already created are not affected.
Checklists can be attached to job templates as well as to jobs. That attachment is chosen on the checklist, under Checklists.
