Open Settings → Automations. The top of the page is an index. The workflows underneath are extra messages. They do not replace the reminder you already configure next to the work. A workflow sends only when it is Enabled, the wait has passed, the filters match, and the channel can send. Save workflow keeps the subject, the body, the wait, and the filters. You need a message body before the workflow can be turned on. WhatsApp workflows stay hidden until WhatsApp can send. If the label says WhatsApp rule (finish Communications to send), connect it under Communications first.

Primary reminders

These are edited on the page they belong to. Opening them from Automations only jumps there. Overdue invoices, estimate follow-ups, visit reminders, post-job thank-yous, and recurring plan visits are not edited in the workflow list. The Google review link used by a review request is also under Jobs → Reminders, not here.

Optional follow-ups

Each workflow is one starting event, a wait, optional filters, then one message. The message is a follow-up. It is not the email or SMS you send yourself when you first deliver the estimate, invoice, or visit.

Wait

Wait is Minutes, Hours, or Days. Send as soon as the trigger happens means no extra wait. The first message you sent yourself still goes out on its own. This wait is only for the follow-up.

Only if

Both filters are optional.

Then

Email subject and Message body are the follow-up. A WhatsApp workflow sends the message body on WhatsApp instead of email. Use the placeholders so the name, total, or link is filled in for that customer. An empty language gets English until you write that version. If a follow-up never goes out, check three things: the workflow is enabled, the channel is connected, and the starting event has happened in Jomioz. Sending a message yourself does not count as that later follow-up.
