Record tags

Record tags are names your team can attach when they edit a customer, a job, or a pipeline view. They do not change price, tax, or who is assigned. Click Add tag, type the name, and save. On a record, Add from tag library… picks from this list. If every library tag is already on that record, the picker says All library tags selected. Rename a tag when you want a clearer label. Remove tag takes the name out of the library. Customers and jobs that already have it can still show the old label until someone edits them. The remove dialog says that. You need permission to manage tags. Without it, the page says you do not have permission. The customer list can filter by tag. The jobs list can too. Creating the tag here does not put it on any record until someone chooses it.

Skill tags

Skill tags describe a qualification, for example Licensed Electrician or Gas Safe Registered. They are used on employee profiles and on service items so the right person can be matched to the job. Add skill tag, then assign it on the person and on the service item. A skill tag does not by itself block a visit from being saved. It is how you describe the match. Remove skill tag unassigns it from every employee and every service item. That is stronger than removing a record tag. Rename it if you only want a clearer name.
